Description She doesn't like being looked at. Actually, the outlook of the medusa isn't exactly important because when you see it, you die instantly when eye contact is established. When it notices you, it starts staring but it can't touch you until you're 100% dead. And it only takes a glance.

To prevent accidental exposure and stupid sudden deaths, the medusa is constantly humming a song in an eerie, distorted voice, so that the player can use normal stereo hearing to determine it's location. When it notices the player, it gets stuck looping a single note, and migraine-ish visual artifacts on the screen start indicating it's direction, so that the player has an idea which direction not to look. The creature is slow, and doesn't try to hop in front of the player for an instant kill.

The only way to avoid being killed is to avoid eye contact or by taking out the all lights in the area. In a completely dark room where you can just barely see her silhouette, you can hang out with her as long as you like. She can't kill you.

Oh, and btw the killing might not be "spontaneous explosion of all flesh off the bones". It's purely for demonstrational purposes.

I didn't imagine them either. Ideas for the mouth and shoulders are both ripped from other sources because I have no imagination.
