he really is disney's aladdin... light vest, hammer pants... street urchin dreaming of a greater life.i partied him with ashe and balthier, who i kept as melee and ranged, respectively. this left vaan the spellcaster. i like to think that once he started fighting alongside the others, they quickly took notice of his poor swordskills and gave him a staff. of course, if you DID like him as a quickstriking thief, the spear and ninja sword are among the quickest weapons. ...i mean, come on... who seriously uses daggers?

Vaan actually has the best stats in the game balthier has better speed and Basch better HP Β but he outstrips them in other stats Vaan if he isnt the highest he is the second which cant be said for the others.
You can make Vaan basically anything and he will work though Str which he ties with Basch for and Vit he is king of.
Ashe then penelo are the next bestΒ
Then its Balthier Basch and Finally Fran

I completely lost it at the Magical Girl Vaan pose with the Rod of Faith.
Seriously though, wonderful work, and I'd never thought of the Vaan = Disney Aladdin comparison. Now I can't unthink of it.
