N:that sounds like quite the plot twist but remember, ALtier despises feelings, and basically loves leia for her cold-heartedness. that's a great plot twist but what would be the reason of altier wanting to save cria?

no. all he wanted was to save leia and so he told leia about deaths plan and through their intercourse he fell deeper in love with her. he explained to leia that it would be dangerous for her to be around when he comes and to go off with him but leia being stubborn and possessive decides to try and outwit death like her father. once leia gets her head sliced off, altier starts hating cria because it was supposed to be cria dead and not his beloved one and all this psycho stuff going on in his head builds up this fire inside of him that makes him dislike cria a lot.

lol~ to not leave any holes of how altier is there, since niko was young at the time and not as strong as he is now, I think altier was able to release himself out of niko's collar when niko was not on guard so probably when niko is sleeping or something like that, he sneaks out. and since they were taken with death to the reaping (niko's first maybe? idk)I imagine them watching the target through some orb or something allowing them to get to know them better or some sort or to be prepared for anything to come. at this time, this is when altier first fell in love seeing as how they had to study them for a certain amount of time.
