Because in Japanese, tako means octopus.
The name of the icon is a play on Tako-san, who is a tiny little octopus that I draw everywhere.

Absolutely adorable! Very well drawn!
A little suggestion, though? You might brighten its green body a tiny little bit, or increase its saturation. Right now there seems to be a little filter of grey over it...but maybe there's just something wrong with my vision...

Hmm. It might be the color settings on your monitor because it seems pretty bright to me.
Thanks for the suggestion, though. I have a couple of different computers that I do digital art on, and it's always nice to know what adjustments I have to make to get the best colors.
