THIS is my favorite position in mermaid art! The male human carrying the female mermaid. Not sure why..... I just LOVE IT!.... And YESSS! This one has a mermaid tail!
Although, I must admit, that I think that the first one has a more dramatic appearance as far as contrast is concerned, despite them being the same texture fills.
I am doing all the cutouts and rearranging of fragments in my much larger pieces, and I realized that they made a WONDERFUL outline piece if I just filled them with textures! (So I made my first one yesterday, and this is my second one - each from the "Can't Let Go" series, due to the main image I pieced them together to make.)
Quite inspired by the piece I am doing, here is the *Second* of the 3 cutout images I am using from "Can't Let Go." I'm not sure if I will be spending the time to create the outlines with textures of the final image.
I'd be interested to know what you all thought!
