The bird reminds me of the seagulls at Fisherman's Warf in San Francisco. I ate at an open air café. On the rail next to my table sat three seagulls watching every French fry I put in my mouth. Every time I would bite a fry, I swear the gulls would whimper. It was one of the strangest experiences in my life that didn't involve drinking, smoking pot, or sex in inappropriate locations.
