OK, soooooooo I've always loved the way Pixiv has their site laid out. Seriously, I think DA should implement this. If I want to look at artistic nudes I will go to the 'R-18' part of the site, if I want to look a vags, dicks, smut, and all that other crap that makes it to the front page for my grandmother to see, I will go to the "R-18part of the site. It keeps the dominant front page clean, while giving the "R-18" crowd a place of their own on the site.
And don't blahblahblah me with "U KNO DER IS A MATURE BUTTIN, RITE?" THAT SHIT SUCKS.
I actually LIKE looking at artistic nudes, or using stock and reference material of people naked.
I just think it's a better layout, and gives people who are into posting pictures of there vaginas and butt holes a place for their creative freedom..and people who need fap material
And yes, this was half prompted by the stamp in the picture XD
And if you guys support and like this idea, please "FAV". It probably won't make it to the front page, but I would love for at least a staff member or two to maybe notice this suggestion!

If you've ever visited the site Pixiv then you'd understand.
This would give the option for people two have almost two separate websites in one.
Like I said in the comments, it would give the people who post mature content to deviantart and the people who come to deviantart purely for mature content, a place of their own, to post whatever they want. Users wouldn't have to flag content mature, nor would the people who don't want to see mature content have to see it on their 'part' of the site. I think it's better than the 'Mature' filter and gives the users a lot more options.
I suggest checking out pixiv to get the full grasp of what I'm saying

DeviantART seems to have no interest in doing any kind of quality control. For this reason, I kind of miss communities like Elfwood. I know, I know. This is art. People put their souls into it, and will get angry if their stuff is taking down because OMG THE MAN GOT ME. Blah blah blah.
A picture of your D-cups or your roommate's crotch taken with a webcam is not art, however, nor are screen captures from anime series. They should should add a new category called "Garbage" if they're not going to anything else about it.

This, so much! I have my mature filter on because I get sick of seeing it when I least expect it to. I also have my two little sisters who like to watch me browse dA from time to time. I don't have a problem with nudity at all, I just don't want to see cocks and vag everywhere especially when the little ones are watching.
