Contest was to rework an existing design and give her a bit of a background...

So here's what I've got.

Nina is very shy and skittish. She likes reading and sketching - particularly outside if the weather is good. Nina also likes naps in sunny spots. She would like to be a great artist someday but isn't very confident in her ability. Currently she is going to art school but has a hard time making friends - the few that she has are very protective of her.

Her favorite food is apples and tuna sandwiches (but she doesn't usually like people to know that in case they think she's weird)
