Description This is a shot I quickly snapped of a child on his fathers shoulders, watching a fair ground ride at the Winter Wonderland this Christmas in London, Hyde Park.
Taken with my wonderful 50mm 1.8 lens, eeee I am so happy to have it back.
A colourful start to 2010, but a reminder of the festive season just past. Happy new year everyone

This is a good shot. Very sharp.
I do wish the frame was shifted a little more to the right however.

I can understand why, but I quite like it that way... makes him seem smaller against the madness behind. The best I could do from a quick blind snap with my arms holding the camera in the air away from my face

Ah, I went to the Winter Wonderland too! Did you go on any of the rides?

Lovely focusing, I must say. I like how the little guy has his fingers around his chin as if he is contemplating something.

Great colours and atmosphere too.

Hehe I think he was sort of chewing his thumb!
I didn't go on the rides because it was all so expensive! But I very much enjoyed the atmosphere... and the food looked awesome too but I was too poor to splash out £6.50 on the meat burger things that we wanted to get
Did you go on any rides? The haunted house looked so fun!

By the lake?
I've been a few years in a row now... it's enjoyable without going on the rides anyway
We checked out how much the tokens were and it would cost £4 each to go on the haunted house ride! So we went and chased pigeons and geese
