I like how you created seems along the render with the dots - it's a good twist on adding lighting. I like the obscurity of the render as well, it does a good job at camouflaging itself, yet reveal enough to have a point of interest. And as already mentioned, the purple is awesome.

My only complaint is the background, I'm not a fan of the swirling effect. It looks almost gradeschool-esque compared to the rest of the piece, if that makes sense?
