hmm looks pretty good but i suggest making the snout a little shorter. realism can be cool when trying to make pokemon look like real animals somewhat but it looks better if you try to match the shape of its design a little. it'd look a little better if you gave it a more cat-like face but other than that good job.

Yeah, funny story, I totally thought Absol was some sort of Wolf human thing. A friend told me he was suppose to be more of a Sphinx.
Thanks for your suggestion. But I don't think I'm going to change this piece. Mainly for lack of my tablet. :[

actually it's supposed to be a Bai Ze crossed with some sort of mountain lion. a lot of people mistake it for a canine somehow but they make the same mistake with any pokemon that's four-legged with fur XD common mistake though -shrug-
also i wish you luck with your tablet ;u; i know what it's like to be tabletless and honestly i feel i cant draw without one lol. stay strong!
