It's a peacock, not a turkey!!!!I love the way peacock tails settle when they're not splayed out. But apparently they just look like turkeys.
I made Ho-oh a little more... blueish than green. Not a big fan of the color green. I added gold leaf on the tail feathers so the original is iridescent.

I like drawing line art in color pencil because graphite tends to "bleed" with watercolor. The color pencils have wax or something in them that keeps it from smudging.
