Description Going through a bunch of RPG supplements looking for characters for characters for my Mutants and Masterminds game, and I came across this guy in 'Enemies of San Angelo' from Gold Rush Games. He's a kind of Absorbing Man/Sandman type of character... a blue collar schmuck who has ridiculously powerful powers (in this case, gravity control), but doesn't really have the smarts of imagination to use them to effect.
He's also a sexist arsehole, so I think he'd be a good fit as a baddie for the new Lady Liberty, the sort of obnoxious chaunivist who it'll be fun to smack the shit out of.

(Deadweight originally appeared in the supplement, 'Enemies of San Angelo', a supplement for the Champions RPG, written by Mark Arsenault, Steve Kenson and Patrick Sweeney published by Gold Rush Games.)

I love villains like this, and he really captured the feel really well.

For a moment, I thought this was from the book itself and was going to be... YOU DREW FOR THE SAN ANDREAS BOOKS! It's that dead-on.

I tweaked him a bit. The original version was shirtless and looked kinda like a Steelworker or something, I made him a bit more of a schlub and aged him a bit. Also, gave him a singlet to complete that blue-collar look.

Looks good, there's a place in any rogues gallery for a low-rent jobbing thug, and he'll be fun to beat up.

I statted him up and emailed him to you and Tony. He's VERY powerful, but has a number of weaknesses that you could exploit.
