(Part 3 of 4) AND I still may do the X-man phantom character ;DThis is just a series of close ups that I've been doing of all my characters - well four of them so far. Inspired by X-men:The Last Stand and the promo pictures out for all the characters. I cannot wait to see the movie *bounces*
Anyways, meet Jude. My old manager from Lewiscraft (yes, I worked there) like me to refer to him as 'her future husband'. Kerrey is the shiznit! Anyways *cough* Jude is a psionic 'hitch hiker' - mostly of sight - hence the nick Para-sight. I wanted him to have a pensive look - serious events are about to unfold, but ready to kick ass in his own way

Usual Suspects: Ball point black pen, dying brush marker of doom, more black ink and photoshop for boarder and print. Yay!

Portrait close-ups are notoriously difficult for any artist simply because you're confronted with the unspeakable notions of DETAIL (hear the boos) & DISTINCTION (now hear the hisses)! Which, my dear, you've mastered beautifully. Your value system served you best, I think, in those concentrated shadows. Breath-taking.

there are these little short black pens out called BIC Body action... they're just little shortys - but they do the trick really well. Comes two in a pack.
