What else can I say other than,
I loves me some scruff.
Portrait close-ups are notoriously difficult for any artist simply because you're confronted with the unspeakable notions of DETAIL (hear the boos) & DISTINCTION (now hear the hisses)! Which, my dear, you've mastered beautifully. Your value system served you best, I think, in those concentrated shadows. Breath-taking.
Oh yeah. Hi. How in the hell have ya been?

This is -so- awesome - perfect technique and just the right mix of realistic and comic-ish elements.
I love it.

Good stuff. Very consistent style throughout, and I love when anyone can draw well with a ballpoint pen.

I really like this image. The character and his attitude work exceptionally well with the X3 poster style. I love your use of texture, and the delicious low-key lighting. Well done!
