My first crossover story, Ace Combat: The Equestrian War ([link] turned out to be somewhat successful. It inspired me to create another story, to follow it. This will be the second story from Ace Combat: Equestria Chronicles mini-series.

This cover is the result of over 2 days working in Photoshop, spent mainly on finding proper vectors on Derpibooru. I decided to use an "official" map for Equestria this time, as well as a canon flag.

Ace Combat: Wings of Unity will have pretty much everything that made The Equestrian War a good story, and perhaps even more
(at least, I'm hoping it will ^ ^").

The first fanfic was centered on elements from Ace Combat 04, Ace Combat 5 and Assault Horizon, with small doses of Ace Combat Zero and Ace Combat 6. Meanwhile, Wings of Unity will be based mostly on Ace Combat 6, Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception on the PSP, Ace Combat Zero and Ace Combat: Joint Assault, with small doses of Ace Combat 2.

Presentation of battles will remain pretty much unchanged, but you are likely to see a few new elements not shown in The Equestrian War, as well as a new foreign ace to assist the heroines, compared to three in the first story. Perhaps even a new squadron.

Like the first story, the chapters will have links leading to various themes from Ace Combat franchise, in order to create an atmosphere. This including gems such as "Fire Youngman" from AC2 / Joint Assault [link] , "Sipli Field" from AC6 [link] , "Contact" from AC0 [link] , and "Skies of Deception" from ACX [link] .

Contrary to the first story, I'll start writing this one in my mother language and THEN immediately translate it to English.

PREMISE:

Two years after the war with the griffins, peace and harmony once again returned to Equestria. But, from the shadows of the past, a new enemy emerges...

Descendants of ponies, who were long ago exiled from Equestria by Princess Celestia for their dangerous behaviour and experiments, seek to return to the land they used to call home. Over the years, their leader had amassed a great army and gained powerful allies. She decides to exact revenge on the one who exiled her... Princess Celestia realizes the threat and enacts a plan she started shortly after the end of The Equestrian War.

When the conflict erupts and Equestria is attacked by initially unknown enemy, the Mirage squadron is once again sent to the skies, with Rainbow Dash leading them through countless perils. But will the Angels of Equestria be strong enough to stop another invasion of enemy forces? Or will they fail? Only time will tell...
