here's a good work, the colors are beautiful, calm and clear tones that combine with each other, nothing too agressive, the palms are good, and the sunlight is really amazing, but the only aspect negative of this photograph is the angle, because the light turned everything that is closest to the camera darkest, and that took a bit of quality to photo, giving it a look too blurred. This is my opinion.

Keep it going

Great shot! I love the coloring, the clouds, the trees, basically the whole landscape. Good job catching it all the way that you did! :]

Some parts of the sky look a little, I don't know, grainy maybe? You know what I'm saying? I would also make the shadows a bit darker, but I love the colors and it's a beautiful scene. It illustrates the rule of thirds quite well, too. Good job!

i like the colors, the blue sky and yellow sun, with the black palm trees. Though maybe I'm just a nut for liking the purples and oranges the sun can make better. and the yellow from the sun seems to be also in the black area that's like bushes and beach or whatever it is, I guess it would help it feel like more of a clear cut line if it didn't seem like the light was leaking or reflecting off something.
the clouds are a bit on the way though, but are mostly ok i would say.
I would say the contrast is good.
I like the palms, they and it over all reminds me of the sunsets in CA.
I also like how there's that space at the bottom, it puts the sun in the middle and the horizon in a good place.
To both of you, very lovely picture you have there, nicely done.

I was going to comment and mention the noise/colour like everyone else, but I noticed that you had resubmitted this with that rectified. So I'll give feedback on your edit.
You're definitely on the right track, that is what I would have suggested you do, but I think you went a bit too far. What I was hoping you would do was just fix the colour problem, not go all the way like you did in the edit. It looks obviously edited, instead of just a fix, if that makes any sense.

The colours look great together. Very nice picture.

The only thing I would suggest is to lower that sort of soft gauzy light over the picture as it takes away from the impact of the picture. Making the trees darker will make them stand out against the lovely sunset. This will allow for a sharp contrast and make the picture have more impact.

Otherwise I would just be careful of the noise in the picture.

^^

Hope that helps.

what do you thick about the colors? colors are nice and realistic
the contras? is a little bad, this under sun is to black
the angle? yes, little downward, or wait until down is lighter
the plams? very good position
and any thing you see there?

i would shot this on beach.

Well this is a nice pic. The location in here, the time when it was taken is really perfect. The colors are great. Good work.
Just that it looks a bit blurred, is what troubles me. Maybe contrast will do the work.

Well, I'd add a bit of contrast... Maybe cause I love to play with contrast. ^_____^
Personally I love playing with colors, and I love how they are here, they don't need any more saturation~ Fine shot.

First of all, I think it is a shame that the photo is so washed out - it seems that the camera had a hard time taking a photo directly into the sun (not that mine wouldn't )

Apart from that, the photo is really beautiful. I like the colors, and I like the composition in general. I think you could make the photo better if you edited it somehow such that the trees were totally dark, instead of having some of the light in them

Wow. That was my first word. I really like the colours in it. There is this contrast between cold and warm colours, as I really like. (sun and surrounding blue). Then there is this rule there are saying: "You shouldn't take pictures of the sun directly, because then you will ruin the picture". ***k that rule (in this case) Because this make the picture so much more special.
Though there is just one small thing there is bothering me a little (just a tiny little, so don't worry) is that there is this sense of graininess, all around the picture. Unfortuanly I can't really help you solving that problem.
But very neat picture ^-^

I like the colors a lot. They work well together. And the palm leaves look really nice. I think you should amp up the contrast a tad, because like Doodlee said, the sihouettes aren't as powerful as they could be.

It's really nice! I especially like the colors here, but it looks a little too dark in areas, and it looks like there is a sun glare in the middle, which kind of distorts the picture and makes it look blurry. Overall though, not bad.

Ooooh pretty! The only advice I would have for this one is to keep the trees dark. They seem to have gotten a little washed out by the light, and it kills the silhouette some. Other than that, it's good!

thats reallly really nice. the colours and contrast work well together and the framing is beautiful! my only crit would be that maybe the ISO may be a little too high which is why it's grainy? i know you can't redo the picture and i dont expect you to, but now you know and you can tell your cousin well done ^_^
