History/Backstory: This Lapis nicknamed “footsie” by Steven is a former terraformer like other lazuli gems. She is very clumsy, often bullied by other lapis lazulis she would work with. She would mess up while terraforming. This lead to her joining the crystal gems. Rose was patient and kind, teaching her to tame her powers. Rose (unknown to Footsie) has experience taming out of control powers in herself from her time as Pink Diamond. However, when Rose expressed that she wanted to shatter Pink Diamond, Footsie didn’t like it. She felt shattering was “cruel” and would make them as bad as the Diamonds. One day pearl found the mirror by the galaxy warp. She wanted to free Lapis, immediately recognizing her as another one of her race. Rose however would not allow her to do so and had the mirror stored in Pearl’s gem. Rose said they didn’t know if that lapis would be an ally or not and could be dangerous. Lapis disagreed and threatened to go back to homeworld. Rose bubbled her away similar to how she did with Bismuth to prevent her from defecting. She is unbubbled in SUF confused and hurt. She wants to lash out, but there’s nowhere to go. Rose is gone and the war is over. She also felt useless for not being able to play a bigger part in the war. She now has found peace babysitting onion, singing and acting.
