Here's an interesting story:

On January 30, 1989, there was this one mentally ill person who's last name was Noid (Kenneth Lamar Noid, if you will), and thought the commercials with 'The Noid' character were personal attacks on him. Because of that, he went down to a Domino's in Atlanta and held two of the employees hostage. He then demand $100,000, some get-away transportation, and a copy of book, 'The Widow's Son'. Afterwards, he surrendered to the police. After the ordeal, Kenneth Noid was charged with kidnapping, extortion, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during a crime, but was found not guilty for reason of insanity. He went on to live in a mental institution for three months, and in 1995, ultimately committed suicide.

That incident was why domino's Pizza stopped using "The Noid" as their mascot, at least up until recent years.

I even have about four decks of playing cards the "Avoid the Noid" logo on them.

I still remember the NES game Yo! Noid. That came to mind believe me.

OMG! MY childhood and most fond memories of claymation. The Noid commercials were always enjoyable and as a kid and unique for me due to the high quality clay animation. I also love the NES game, Yo! Noid. I've played it a lot and beaten it a few times. I even use The Noid in fanfic stories I write as well as some videos. Thank you for doing this awesome drawing and spreading some love for this little midget grenlin.

I remember him from the Yo Noid game from the NES. Do I have fond memories of that game.
