Kujira is the 8-Tails Jinchuriki. Before the Akimichi were civilized and taught jutsus to become smaller and conserve energy, they were gentle giants that lived by Mount Nantai. Roku beat them into submission and used them as slaves to build his new winter palace.

Few like to imagine the demon Roku wooing and mounting a giant, but Kujira is the result of Uzumaki and Akimichi blood. Kujira stands almost 15-feet tall after the shrinking jutsu. His true size is is over 120 feet tall.

Wielding a massive arm-cannon, Kujira blasts away fortresses and gates easily. As he lumbers around the city, it is terrifying to see a walking tank tear apart any of its final defenses as the Uzumaki Army stream in through the destroyed entrances. Especially as Kujira moves only with the 8-Tails tentacles, allowing him to even scale mountains and tall buildings to get a better shot.

Kujira has a terrible temper and only fears Roku. He is usually chained and only brought out for siege or battle. He is only tamed by Kaho Uchiha's Mangekyou Sharingan. She treats him well and calms his rage, which is justified as he is enslaved as an animal.

Most cities fear Kujira as with his inclusion to the Uzumaki Army, cities fall apart in mere moments at his presence. Kujira is misunderstood and hated as a mere monster released by Sora Uzumaki, the 5-Tails Jinchuriki and general.

After Kaho is murdered at her wedding, Sora tries to talk to his brother as a human for the first time. Sora promises Kujira freedom for him and his clan to help him take down Roku's castle.

True to Sora's word, Kujira happily returns to the Land of Lightning and lives the rest of his life living among the massive mountains and listening to songbirds. His cannon is discarded and is kept as a relic on Uzumaki Mountain.
