This is so awesome! The way you layer your paint really make it look like a painting of the time period. Your art is always such a pleasure to behold! Keep up the good work!

Thank you. Yes, this one I've been experimenting with layering with retouch varnish in-between paint layers too.ย

I think that you should maybe make inquires into the possibilities of exhibiting some of these pieces at the new Hougoumont museum, i am sure they would be interested. ๐ (o^^o) ๐

Wow! I am impressed that's a great start, I suggested this because i feel your work is that good and would look great in their new museum, they may be interested if you were to contact them or maybe to be sold as prints in their museum store. Maybe make some inquiries, or better still hop on the train and visit Waterloo yourself!, this is just a suggestion, i am not telling you what to do *Smiles* ๐ (o^^o) ๐

Oh in my defense i only played that game because it was given to me as a gift by a friend last Christmas, why he did it have no idea, but i felt that i had to play it because of that reason.
I rarely play that these days, in fact hardly much at all. I am playing the Order 1886 just now and really enjoying it! Are you a gamer? ๐ (o^^o) ๐

I certainly have been although I'm good these days and use the time for art. Total War series, Mount and Blade and Skyrim have been my favorites for years.

Yes i meant to thank you for that just got sidetracked earlier.
Yes i like nature spirits, i am a believer actually, no not into any military or soldiers, from any period to be honest.
It's really not my thing. But i am very impressed by your work and the history behind them,
and i hope that something develops from it, because it certainly deserves to be in places like the new Waterloo Musuems.
Just out of interest do you plan on doing something from the South African campaign? Isandhlwana or Rourkes Drift?

I do like those periods, but I often feel a bit wary in how to portray them it as it starts to enter that racial, exploitative area which isn't nice. But I would like to do something from the Zulu war sometime.
