I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON THIS FOREVER but I've finally gotten to the point where I'm just done with it, SO. This is another version of my imagining of Angrboda, a character from Norse mythology that I have become inexplicably obsessed with. This is my imagining of what she'd look like as a frost giant (since she is a giant in the original mythology). I did one of her without hair because none of the frost giants in Thor had any, but in the mythology she's frequently described as having "hair the color of dried blood," which I love the idea of so I did one with that too. Basically I just really really want her character to be involved in the Marvel movieverse but I know it'll never happen because she was only in the comics once, goddammit!Related content

This is exactly what she should look like in the movies. ย Well, in the movies in my head since its not likely they'll be using her in the future movies...the comics are very VERY different from the mythos, after all. ย LOVE THIS DRAWING!

Thank you!! I would literally love nothing more for the Thor films than for Angrboda to show up and interact with Loki. I want it so bad and it kills me that it will probably never happen. And so that's why I draw so much fanart of her.

I'm a Loki/Sigyn shipper myself so I have my own vague thoughts as to how to involve Angrboda and the three children in Marvel movieverse Loki's life beforehand. Definitely not a woman you'd want to mess with. The way you've rendered her is fantastic!
