Uh this was almost done before the episode release, and I wanted too submit it before starting the game, buuut.. I didn't. I just had this image of Chloe from all the trailers and especially the Daughter's song, Burn it down. Though I think it also fits to another person as well. Well, kind of. I didn't expect much from the prequel tbh, but I like it very much. Like very very. Much.this on tumblr

I just finished the first episode of BTS yesterday and OMFG, that was intense! Rachel is intense!! The popular girl surronded by fake friends and fake stories... Rachel is like I imagined she would be, Chloe was right, how not to fall in love with her?! And I really missed Chloe's rebel side and her sassiness. And seriously, Rachel has to have powers, I mean, it seemed to me that she alredy knew so much about Chloe without "meeting" her as we know... And after that ending scene, really she gotta have powers! Maybe like Max... My theory, she probably dated Chloe in the alternative life and now she only wants to be friends with her, because somehow something tragic would happened if she dated her. Like Chloe dying... But she fucking dies anyway, it's so sad!

Yep, I didn't expect deck nine would portray Rachel so perfectly, like you almost immediately understand why everyone freaks out about her, in a good way or not. I seriously was afraid they're gonna ruin the image of her, but hell damn she's exactly what you would expect by everyone's vision of her. I also like to see Chloe actually trying to communicate (by the choice of player of course) with people instead of simply confront almost everyone. Aaand yep, that bittersweet sadness when you know they're not gonna leave,not Rachel at least. I guess it's pretty hard to make an interesting story when everyone knows how the main characters are gonna end up, and deck nine doing just great.
Hm, interesting theory for sure^^ I've heard people were guessing if Rachel messed up with time too and got lost somewhere. Dunno, I thought devs would give Rach another kind of power, and hopefully justify it somehow.

Yeah, I did not expect to like Rachel so freaking much to be honest. ^^ But she's soooo cool! I really get it why Chloe seems so in * panic * arround her, I would be nervous too xD
Deck Nine made a really good job portraying her and in general, I was afraid they would mess up with DONTNOD storyline and I believe it's really hard to make an interesting story when we already know the end, but so far so good, they 're doing great! I can't wait for episode 2.
I believe they will make a different ending for this game that don't be close to the first Life is Strange events as we would like, because Chloe is 19 years old in Life is Strange and now she's 16, and I really don't think that they will do a game that goes through all that time in between both games. First, because, we already know what happened to Rachel and second, because this game will mainly focus on their relationship and as so, I'm expecting the ending to be more opened. But it's HELLA SAD hearing Rachel talking about her dreams to travel and about her future, knowing what we know

Before the Storm so far solidifies my association of Life is Strange with Twin Peaks. I can relate to certain Chloe is experiencing in this installment.

I've never finished watching twin peaks tbh, so can't really judge. People also talking that somehow it's kinda related to the Crow movie, but i don't actually remember that one either :/

Somehow the whole episode is wrapped around fire theme. I mean Chloe says 'fire's nice' in my walkthrough, Evan involved in that wildfire prevention campaign, Rachel burning in Chloe's dream, the final scene afterall. I wonder if they're gonna keep it up through the season

Yes there's also the newspaper found at the house where Chloe lives with her mother. It is about an increasing number of wild fires occurring in the general of the woods or forest in the immediate vicinity of Arcadia Bay.

Честно, тоже Хлою не особо люблю, но рисуется только в путь Хотя все равно некие теплые чувства вызвала, напомнила подругу старую. Ох, я так люблю когда мне говорят что у меня стиль есть, спасибо большое)) Ничего не могу обещать насчет рисунков из бтс, я даже это рисовать не собиралась, но вот как-то daughter встряхнула песней своей) Вполне вероятно что-то и будет. Хочется, уже давно)Еще до того как объявили длц, все ломала голову как же так всю игру без Хлои!! Собиралась нарисовать но как видишь все так и осталось планами. Когда-нибудь точно будет, и Ленка тоже. Сравнивать ее с Прайс мне сложно если честно)
