I worked this during Christmas Eve '12. My idea here is to capture more of the ethereal senses one has whilst watching a performance that is just so damn good it makes all the others look second best. Examples for me are Ella Fitzgerald's live performances, John Pinette's stand-up comedy, any episode of AYBS (old British sitcom), among select others. The first time I heard Pachelbel's Canon in D all stress and anxiety transformed instantaneously into serenity. No me, no them, no then, no we. While the music played, all I felt was the flow of the river Now. It continues to affect me this way. Within the first strains, I rejoin all that is.

Hearing Bruce "Air Raid Siren" Dickinson belt out "Scream For Meeeeeeeee" at an Iron Maiden concert, watching Tom Brady throw a lazer dart to a tightly covered Wes Welker, and seeing the Mona Lisa in real life.
