You know... This seems like it would be great for your opponent, but there are 2 cards that can turn this into a benefit. There are 2 cards called "Bad Reaction to Simochi" and "Darklord Nurse Reficule", basically their effects are they turn any Life Point gain for your opponent into Burn Damage. For example; if your opponent chooses to gain 4000 Life Points, they'll take 4000 points of damage instead. I get they can choose to draw 1 card instead, but they gain Life Points before choosing any of the 2 effects. Honestly if you control 2 of these cards and had Bad Reaction to Simochi on the field, you could do an OTK... Or even FTK if Makyura the Destructor wasn't banned.

Wait wait, i think you don't get the effect here. YOU are the one that gains the draw or the 4000 LP, your opponent gets 1000 LP and then they pick what you will get in return. But yeah, if your opponent has Nurse or BRtS on the field, then you better don't play this card.

Yeah, just a small mistake. What took me a bit to respond is I felt like I saw this wording before... And I did. Silent Wobby had a similar wording. FYI on its effect; it had an effect where its first effect where it could Special Summon itself to your opponent's field... And I should point out that is the end of its first effect, even though the next effect follows right after. When it's summoned you draw 1 card and your opponent gains 2000 Life Points. (it also had an effect where the controller of the card has their hand limit become 3, but that effect wouldn't last long because they could use it for Link plays or whatever.) My point being is Silent Wobby had a similar wording where when it's summoned to your opponent's field, they read that effect from their point of view... In other words your opponent draws a card while you gain 2000 Life Points. Sorry for the rant, but yeah it was a small mistake on my part for reading it wrong, its okay though.
