Description Fushimi Inari has been my long time dream destination in Japan. I visited there during Thanksgiving (just four days ago haha). It is truly an inspiring place with endless, thousands of red torii. I wished I understand Japanese to read all the texts

Very cool.

According to Japanesquest , "All Torii gates were donated by Japanese individuals or companies. On the back of each gate, you can find who the donator was and when the donation was made." The donor info is on the left pillar and the date is on the right pillar.
