My original characters from a fantasy story I'm designing.

I actually thought of the girl and faun quite a long time ago. (Of course, back then, the faun was actually a monkey, but I wanted to make him more fantasy esque.)

Okay... details...

The girl with red hair and freckles is Martha. She's a poor girl who was raised by pirates. When her clan is killed and their most prized treasure stolen, she vows to avenge their death and claim the treasure back. She is both naïve and hot-headed.

The man standing behind her, sipping tea is Donovan. He is a dead man who is searching for his lost soul. He has a power where if he looks someone in the eyes, they will die, so he is forced to keep them closed at all times. He is aloof and sad, yet keeps his emotions to himself.

The faun is named Drystan. He was a servant of a princess named Aelwen, but he was placed under a curse that changed him into a faun. His princess is also under a spell that makes her sleep. Drystan has vowed to avenge her and find a cure before it's too late. He is boystrous and impulsive.

The big ol' baddie who has had all these things done to them is a witch named Zegra. She stole the Diamond (pirates' treasure) of Lequea (the world) which can grant one's wish. She stole Donovan's soul and cursed him, because he is the only one who can completely kill her. (She planned to use his soul as a shield, so he would die if he tried to kill her.) And she wanted the Diamond to kill the Princess Aelwen, but since she secretly holds a fragment of the stone within her, the jewel placed her into an eternal sleep. Then, it cursed the princess' bodyguard and changed him into a faun. Not only was his strength decreased, but he was also pretty much helpless in a battle. But that won't stop him from completing his quest.
