Beautiful, but not Victorian.
It's Georgian.

It looks pretty Victorian to me... and the designer who made it calls her designs Victorian. What is Georgian?

I almost became a fashion historian. Georgian fashion is a big infulence one me.
Yes most of those dresses on your google link are Victorian. If you look at them you'll notice that the necklines are all completly different to those in this image.
That kind of neckline would have been seen as obscene during the reign of Queen Victoria.
The sleeves are different, those kinds of sleeves had fallen out of fashion by the Victorian age.
The skirt style is wider at the hips than the Victorian dresses.
If the dress doesn't give it away the wig does, powdered wigs fell out of fashion when a wig tax was imposed in the early 1800's.
A Georgian (or Rococo if you are outside of the UK or a former British territory) dress is something from the early to mid 1700's (18th century)rather than the mid to late 1800's (19the century)as the Victorian style is.

Notice the neckline, sleeves and wider hipline (granted wider than the one in your image)

A brilliant blog entry about Rococo fashion featuring images of Marie Antoinette, again notice the neckline and hairstyle.
A still from my favourite film ever and subject of much drooling by me:

Hmm. That's all very fascinating considering
I've never heard the term Georgian before.
It must be a common misconception that Victorian
and Georgian get mixed up. They are similar, but
I see what you mean about the difference.
Thanks for the history lesson!

I've never seen anybody mix them up before, though I suppose they are vaugely similar.
Glad you see what I mean
You're welcome

Thanks, that edit is cool and all... but would you please remove it? I'd rather not have my work posted by somebody other than me and the team of people involved and I don't think they'd like it much either. Thank you.
