The second location in Callie's home: the construction zone known as Callie's basement.

The construction workers hung plastic sheeting on all the walls so they could paint the ceiling without the fear of splashing paint over the finished walls. Mrs. Miralni chose to paint the walls two-tone so the darker red shows up a lot in all of the basement pictures.

The plastic sheeting however, makes an excellent filter for light. This photo hasn't been photoshopped at all, except for a few exposure adjustments to bring out the natural colors. So all the hazy, misty light you see is a by-product of the sheeting.
