so, i mustn't lie, i really love this design and i hate to give him up. I'm thinking of starting the bid at a higher price for those reasons.

you may change some parts of the design if you win him
you can of course choose the gender
I don't mind you changing characteristics (ears/tail/etc.) Just nothing major

Most definitely.
The hard part is, not alot of people like to spend actual money on adoptables. There are some people out there who will jump into it if they love the design enough, but most will ask for a points option instead, since they are easier to come by.

yeah i agree completely, and another factor in this all, is i don't have a large following so its hard for some people to come across them, hopefully in the future they will sell easier

That's where tags are REALLY EXTRA important. People often research very simple things, ex: wolf adoptable, cool wolf, free wolf, etc...
Even though they aren't wolves, they do strongly resemble them. Including that tag may help people to better find them.

and oh yes of course, adopts like this one i strongly hope to make $20 or $15 at least, but when i make smaller ones i tend to do them for $1-5

Use things that are incredibly specific. Like for this one, "wolf, red, black, cool, epic, unique, adoptable, white, skulls, feathers, etc...".

and maybe cosplay isn't the term, but i'm gonna be a thief inspired by the assassin creed themed assassins, all black with red trim and skulls and feathers and other stuff, so far we have my skirt started, its similar to the ones in mortal kombat, i cant think of the skirt term for the life of me, but yeah i might make my hood and cape today, and figure out the rest of the designs c:
