Description
This started out as a doodle, and became much more.Felicity/Felicitas from the German animated movie, Felidae.
Unfortunately, this movie is quite rare but you can watch the english dubbed version (which isn't bad) on youtube.

I've had two old family cats put down in the last couple months, which spurred me all the more to upload this.

my 8-year-old self found a screenshot of dead felicity while searching "warrior cats" on google. its strange that it didnt even scare me lol, but i can take a lot of gore and violence.

I dunno my fave character still in the book or film will ALWAYS beJeesiaj I think theres so much depth in his character and sadly alot of it wasn't explored in the film as much as the books but oh well. I agree. This was one of those 'HOLY JEEZE' moments in the film for sure. I hope it gets more well known too. It's a shame it's not and a fantastic job you've done here.

If you want to read the book you can find it on amazon for like $3. That's where i got mine. The book ends so much better than the movie and i enjoyed it much more. Great picture of Felicity, i wish she had lived

Oh wow, really? I still have yet to read the book (shame on me!) but I'm glad to hear that the ending is better?
Actually, I've heard the same thing about the book for Plague Dogs--that it has a much more hopeful, satisfying end than its animated counterpart. Though sometimes the bleak ending is what makes it so heart-rending and memorable.

Wasn't so bored after I watched all the way to part 8 XD
its a really freaking weird cartoon. I was oddly attracted to the story and characters, and Felicity was my favorite. Its so nice to see fanart of her, especially types like these. I think your style protrays the feeling of this movie very well.

It was weird, but she was my favorite character from the movie, with or without limited screen time. I think the eyes struck me, she's more distinctive then most of the others in the film.

actualy not. the film is darker, but the violence is the same. the only mistake, that the film made were the music, because it was to cartoonie for a film that kind. the best way to figurate which music fits best to the novel, is the work of Danny Elfman and Basil Poleduoris. also the book feachures a much detailed sex scene. something in the stile of Sin City or Last tango in Paris. wery exotic and detailful, but less so sexy as in the film. also there is a lot of more story and more dialog. also the messige is diferent that the film messige. Pascal was more portrated as Hitler and at the end Francis didnt say that they have to try live in peace, but to try to become one, just like nazi politic. also at the end all the characters came back(exept Felicity) and find the right place in the neibourhood. also Francis is mostly alone and depressed. this is it.

but yea, I agree that the film was too cartoony. The theme song sort of reminded me of Oliver and Company in some weird way.

I was pretty impressed with the dub. Dubs usually make me cringe, but the voices and mouthing synchronized very well for the english language.
