Have you checked out gabber1991md's work? He is the one who really inspired me to get better at using C4Ds. I learned simply by looking at his work.

wow thank you! he really is something, I like c4ds a lot though I don't use them but I am getting to it *__* the one I submitted on GE was made by c4d, I only hope I stood up to your level because I really like this style ^^

I saw your entry on there and it looks fantastic. You should post it in our Signature Showcase forum; I bet you'd get a lot of great comments on it.
Just keep practicing with them. I wasn't too great when I first started using C4Ds to build my backgrounds (well, just about everything, basically, lol) but after a little while I got used to it and got to where I am now.
