This was my entry for the Conclave Hobby Competition this year. She placed third, which made me happy. I was shooting for the top spot, but there were some really great entries and her background (as the competition is for the whole character, not just the model) was a bit weak.Based on a Devout sister, I resculpted the face and added the armour on her torso. The hands actually come from a 28mm space marine and the knives and purity seal are from other 28mm sets.
The base is made from a piece from the Citadel Arcane Ruins set glued onto a piece of slate and joined with Milliput.

"Fully" converted? Not sure what you mean by that. The main part of the mini is based on the Devout sister from the 54mm Inquisitor range. I sculpted the armour on her torso and resculpted the head to remove the mask from the original, adding the hair. The hands are from 28mm space marines. The hair braid is from Jena Orechiel. Other bits from all over the place.

Much better painting/conversion than I'm used to seeing on one of these mins.
The hair down her back (I'm assuming that's what it is) is particularly effective.

Yeah, the braid is one half of Jena Orechiel's pair of braids. Glad you spotted it! She was - as mentioned above - part of the Conclave's Hobby Competition. If you'd like to see some pretty radical conversion jobs and excellent painting, you should check it out!

Some interesting pics there, particularly the necron pariah, the enslaver, the escher-style gangster and the female demon host.
Personally, I much prefer your entry to the winner of the competition, but when painters get good enough, I suppose it's as much personal preference as skill.
The escher looks like I imagine my half-eldar character's mother did.

To be fair, the competition was as much about the character's background as it was about the model and my character's background was a bit... dull. Well, she is a psycho-conditioned assassin-hunter. She didn't have much of a childhood.

I have an old converted one of these girls sitting about...and like you,i did the face thing...although i didnt resculpt it,i just carefully removed the mask lines
That was years ago...i think she's in a pink catsuit...smexy lol
