Description as time passes, i encounter characters i really appreciate the design of, one way or another. maybe i've seen it before and it pops up again, maybe it's a new character with a great personality- i love them all the same. problem is i'm not fond of drawing them individually. it always feels like i can do more. that's why i resort to these types of drawings. surprisingly this is my second "bunch of c's" piece- a good three years after the first one.

in order of first to last in drawing order,
- Juran (Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger),
celebrating 45 years of Super Sentai, Zenkaiger debuted this year. it's only been six episodes but so much good has already been born: that amazing opening i can't stop singing, Vroon, Magine, the complete 180 from past Sentai norms, the Gears gimmick, etc.. though of course, i had to draw the great Juran. from his homage to Zyuranger to his constant dancing, i can't not love him. the way the Kikainods emote with their eyes is great as well, so i had to implement it here with a cute Zenkai wink. i can't wait for more Juran and Zenkaiger (especially after the episode 7 preview).

- Iruma (Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun),
i think about last year or so i had the luxury of watching Iruma-kun on Musa Asia. the reason i was roped in was because the thumbnails of course showed the characters, and i liked how they looked. so i eventually watched and got hooked, they're all great characters. Iruma of course is great with being kind of like a Deku 2.0 and having really shit parents. i liked drawing his hair the most, and his blends of blue.

- Ruijerd Superdia (Jobless Reincarnation),
much like Iruma-kun i watched Mushoku Tensei on Muse Asia, and i absolutely loved it. the characters such as Roxy and Eris, the in-depth animation, the story over several years. Rujierd caught my attention due to just being such a bro. even when he argued with Rudeus they eventually were able to reconcile, and my guy is so accommodating. i'll admit the hair color and even the skin color are a bit off, not helped by his actual model having a real lopsided face, but it's good.

- Riho Flavin (Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town okay what the fuck is that title),
long title aside, the anime was fun and i looked forward to every episode. some odd animation and rushing aside, Riho was my favorite character. the bitch named after a B vitamin with her tomboyish character was a treat with being the sane man most of the time and despite not showing initial interest in Lloyd, so much romantic focus was put on her instead. i erased too much on the paper and it was weakening, but i am glad i was able to salvage it.

- Agatha (Dark Deception),
i haven't played Dark Deception and i have no intention to, but i was introduced to her by Vtubers. i relished Vtubers just screaming their lungs out, and of all the screams from the game, Marine's are some of my favorites. that aside they did introduce me to Agatha, and i was interested in how freaky her design really is. the render, especially without color, does a good job of being fucking horrific. unfortunately i still couldn't draw children properly so she looks like a young teen, so let's say she grew up a bit (if that's even possible).

- Ultraman Gaia (Ultraman Gaia),
i haven't watched Gaia, but i really appreciate his design and powers. The Red Giant Born from the Earth who excites the ground when he appears, and whose finishers use Mana and are very unique compared to just about every other Ultra, not to mention that killer OP i also sing too much. i'm glad i was able to find turn around shots of him and draw the Photon Edge well.

- Cassandra (Postknight 2),
when i first played Postknight i was enamored by Cassandra. despite being an NPC you couldn't romance, i just liked her even if there was no real reason. then Postknight 2 news came and she got a hell of a promotion and wardrobe update, along with double daggers. she's still a cutie, so i had to draw her eventually.

- Kamen Rider Saikou Shadow (Kamen Rider Saber),
Kamen Rider Saber, despite the odd start, became a strong show with a lot of torment. and of course what cemented the second arc was the appearance of Kamen Rider Saikou. he's the sword by the way. the shadowy guy, Saikou Shadow, is just a summon to help him in battle. such an absurd concept deserved a drawing. Shadow is very bland color-wise to give Saikou over there more focus. by the way, has anyone realized that Saikou (the sword) is literally sculpted to look like a tiny man? that is so fucking absurd i just can't lmao (static.wikia.nocookie.net/kame… )

fun fact, with the way Shadow is positioned, they really can't see anything.

- Higuchi (Heaven's Design Team),
Heaven's Design Team was a nice lax anime. the premise was interesting, the in-depth investigation into the rules of animal making was kept fresh each episode, and the characters were all great. Higuchi of course stood out, not just for her assets, but because she was very helpful and dependable. i do like Ueda and Meido as well, but they all have their good points.

- Robotboy (Robotboy),
i forgot which brought this series back under my radar. but i do remember watching it as a kid and enjoying it. Robotboy is a real simple design, and translating him into my style was fun. i did give him extra fingers though. watching the show again, Robotboy was really cute, but goddamn i wanted to piledrive Gus into the earth. why is the third wheel character almost always annoying? you can have third wheel characters that can be entertaining without being annoying.

- Boyfriend (Friday Night Funkin'),
the bee bo bop's are great, the character design is great, the music is great. i had to draw the idiot midget that raps through all of his problems just for tail (not completely though). i drew him in his original style, since his midget-ness is pretty standard for him and i don't think drawing him in my style could've been done well.

- Robotgirl (Robotboy),
Robotboy may be the star of his show, but i enjoyed the two episodes Robotgirl was in. jesus christ she was only in two episodes. she had a great dynamic with Robotboy, and i would've liked to see more even if she is just recolored Robotboy. though her Superactivated form is lackluster.

- Ghost Pepper (Plants vs Zombies 2),
i played Plants vs Zombies 2 some time ago, and i fell in love with Ghost Pepper. come on she's a cute little pepper with a sheet. what really made it for me was the "Garden Kombat" animation, giving her personality along with the Dark Ages Plants. it's sad that will never get a sequel, but at least i got my love for Ghost Pepper from it. though my game data was on Android (it broke) and my new phone was Apple, and that was before EA allowed you to link your data to your e-mail. RIP.

- Solar Flare (Plants vs Zombies Heroes),
what is with Plants vs Zombies and introducing Plants i want to----- i'll stop. Solar Flare giving the iconic Sunflower a playful spin was a nice welcome, and of course using fire powers was a plus (not to mention apparently she's kinda broken in the game). playing with the browns and warm colors was admittedly a hassle because of a limited palette, but i like what i got.

- Gildedguy (Gildedguy)
i thought i haven't drawn Gildedguy in a while, so i drew him again. i realized Story #0 should debut soon, so i made this in anticipation. it's not much, but i had to draw him again. he's entertained me so much before, i have no doubts Story #0 will not do the same. that's why i'm not looking at any teasers or previews. this is my modus operandi for tokusatsu as well (even when i completely suck at avoiding scans and leaks).

figuring each of their individual palette's was a challenge, but with some aberrations they all came out good. there are some other issues such as empty space and inconsistent lighting, but overall i'm impressed with myself. i also struggled with getting good lighting to illuminate the whole drawing for phone scanning, who would've guessed huh? i might do another in the future if i get enough characters again, but that might take a while. this did take like over a week to make.

much like the last one, i own none of these characters. still not that rich.
