Leo is a tall slender young man who wears a dark-brownish suit with a red and white striped tie, and black dress shoes. He wears glasses, and has spiky light-brown. Because of his handsome appearance, most of the girls in academy fall head-over-heels for him.

Personality:
Leo is kind, gentle, and passionate young man. He’s willing to be there for people in need. His intelligence is high however it’s not high as Furrah’s. He usually the voice of reason as he gives supportive advice to others. Because of Furrah’s constant outburst, he has to keep her calm at most time.
Despite this, he’s able to tolerate Furrah’s behavior even when she’s at her worst. He tends to think rational and reasons with people by conversing rather than violence unlike Furrah. Leo is well-manner and prefers not to get into trouble with others. However he will lose his patience if things goes too far.
He often does get embarrassed whenever he’s in situation where Furrah’s at her fits, or when he’s scolded by her. Regardless he still accept Furrah for who she is.

Leo was raised in a wealthy family known as the Swordsmen Family, where everyone is a elemental blade. At a young age he discovered his weapon supernatural abilities as a Flame Blade. Because of this, he decided to not use his powers until he learned how to use them properly.He’s always been into school and his studies, he attended counseling school to become a psychologist. Unlike him, his siblings had no interest to learn about their weapon powers. His sister grow up to become a singer popstar, while his brother went to penman college to become a novelist. He graduated from college at the age of 15, however because he was still considered a minor, he was unable to become a psychologist at the time.

Leo decided to spend the next couple of years helping with his family business. Eventually his parents informed him that they will be going to out of the country for two years to promote a foundation in need. Since Leo was not considered old enough to run the Swordsmen Family on his own. He decided it was time he learned to maintain his weapon abilities, eventually he learn about the DWMA and began to set up his trip to Death City. At first he felt shy and timid since he wasn’t used being surrounded by a lot of people since he’s always been in private schools. He been having hard time looking for a meister that was worthy to wield him. One day, he discovered a young girl with red hair fighting a bunch of big bullies in front the academy. Impressed by her skills, Leo thought the girl could be a good candidate to be his meister.

He eventually heard by one of the staff members that the girl was Furrah Seraphina who was a meister without a weapon. However was also a very harsh and rebellious person who wasn’t easy to get hold of. At first he was a bit hesitant, but eventually got the courage to go up to her, only for him to drop his glasses. He began to searching blindly for them but instead was given back to him by the redheaded girl as she told him to be more careful, and walked away. This made Leo learned that the girl wasn’t as mean-spirited as people says she is. One day he came across her again and convinced her to be partners with him. Furrah demanded a reason why he was qualified to be her weapon. He revealed to her that he was a Flame blade from the Swordsman Nicholas family. Since he was aware of Furrah’s fire abilities, he thought they’d be a promising match for each other. Seeing that he look promising, Furrah agreed to be his meister.

After a couple months nonetheless, Furrah became a three-star meister. Leo was impressed by Furrah’s progress throughout their missions. As they got closer and began to understand each other more, Furrah decided to tell Leo the truth behind her fire abilities. She told him about the Great Fire Dragon Eden who was known as one of the Evil Spirits that would devored the soul of innocent humans. Which caused the DWMA to sent out students to hunt down the dragon and eliminate it. She revealed to him about the ‘Phoenix’, a group of fire sorcerers who supported Eden and worshiped him as their god. In order to protect him, they sealed him within Furrah when she was only a newborn infant. Due to this, it allow Furrah to use certain dragon abilities that she inherited. Leo was incredibly shock at Furrah’s fate. But she convinced him not to take pity on her. She made him promise to never speak of her darkest secret to anyone in the academy.
It was great for Leo to finally find his calling, and that was help someone in need.
