Description
Something I drew for a friend... for his mother's birthday. She is a dark fairy. I decided to get a bit creative and give her dragon-like wings.Approx 9"x12" graphite on medium grade paper, will be mounted on illustration board tomorrow.

The design is really nice, as is the rest of it. You did a really good job with the shading, too.

Thank you! It's the first traditional piece I've done in some time, and I'm not all THAT happy with it, but I think it looks alright, all things considered! I'll be adding bats to it sometime today. Just a few.
Also, I think I'll be doing a digital painting of this because I have some neat ideas about textures and colors if I brought it into Sai and painted it.
