Something spooky I made by slinging paint around in Manga Studio. It was fun to practice with my new tablet. I love doing creepy stuff. I need to do more.

Great job.Β She is frighteningly beautiful. Taking the detail of black eyes, very reminiscent of the Gothic. And the faint smile she possesses almost makes it friendly.

Thank you! I was mostly just tinkering around, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Maybe I'll make a series of pictures that are similar. I like trying to play up a mood or make something slightly different than what you'd expect, and for a drowning victim, to see a slight smile is somewhere between comforting, slightly off-putting, and severely creepy. I like seeing how people interpret this.
