Frances Snow The 3rd was born in a high-class area of Canterlot. While he grew up his family’s nobility was always telling him that he was better than everypony else despite the fact that he could never be seen as important as his father, the keeper of the family fortune. When he discovered that he is a decedent of a grate earth pony leader, from before Celestia’s rule, he developed a large amount of confidence in himself earning his cutie mark (an assurance medal) in confidence itself. However when most would take this to heart as an encouraging future, He took it to heart that he was more important than everypony else.

He eventually joined the Royal Guard in hopes that he would one day command them; his arrogant actions and attempts to dodge or disobey orders kept him at a low rank until he was able to prove himself in the Griffon Civil War that he was a determined soldier, from then on he joined the ranks as an officer. When Nightmare Moon formed a Coup-De-Tat against her sister, he joined the Nightmare Legion under Commander Bolt (AKA Star Bolt). Because of his attitude he and Commander Bolt didn’t get along, despite their prior service together, in fact if not for his ability to use his family’s fencing sword and a shield that he made himself, Star Bolt would have already discharged him, for insubordination. It’s because of these skills alone that he remains the officer in command of Nightmare Moons swords ponies. As time went by his arrogates finally went down to a point where trust between him and commander bolt could be formed however he never continues to see himself as a higher class than everypony else and is determined to prove this to his family and the world.
