[link]Isn't that the prettiest song ever? I've always liked that song.
Anyway, I just wanted to draw something for me. I've been trying to work on school work when I've been drawing, otherwise just schoolwork when I'm not drawing. I was having a hard time of it tonight though so I decided to whip something up.
I need to work more on perspective...

You know, I looked at this piece before and loved both the song and the artwork. How did I not leave a comment? D: You have no idea how much I adore this picture. Heavens Tower is one of my absolute favorite places, and the way you portrayed the fountain at the bottom is just lovely. The whole picture is so soft and soothing to look at. <3

Heavens Tower is one of my favorite places to just visit. It's the only reason I regret moving back to Sandy too. I can't go past the first floor now. ; ;

Did you start with a dark-to-light build with the colors? I try that sometimes for darker pieces, and I never get it to work the way I want it to. -3-;

I did, and I find in doing so I have a better time of visualizing where the light is coming from. I have problems when doing light colored hair though. >,< It always comes out rough looking.

I really like the soft shading of the dark shadows, and the perspective and hair are a nice touch..I also love the fact the water in the fountain looks like the night sky.
That in my opinion really enhances the sense of wonder you're portraying

Thank you ^^ I love the fountain on the top of Heaven's Tower, but I can't go there anymore ; ; I moved back to Sandy. But I love how the stars all shine in the pool so I made them in the bottom fountain.

Glad to see you still around. If you have trouble with perspective, take a picture. I have done a couple perspective drawings with the help of my camera.

I like the soft, warm light you chose, especially how it looks on her hair. It's very enchanting.
Is she at Heaven's Tower or Full Moon Fountain?
Perspective is one of those evil things, at least with backgrounds. I think the part I hate most is putting a perspective character into a perspective background. It's hard to tell when they're too big or small.
