So I finally came back on DA to post some new art!

Introducing Siegfried Friar, AKA, Shou Hayashi.

At first, he was just some doodle I made as a kid, but then when I played Soul Calibur 2, there was NIGHTMARE. Mm-hmm.

I started to model Siegfried Friar after him. Somehow along the road, I changed Siegfried's name to Shou once, and in one of my private manga that I made, it was two different people who looked alike HAHAHA. I'm dumb.

He used to be a warrior, prince of hell and death (as descripted in my private manga), then to a prince of light.

SHOU HAYASHI... he had ice powers. I'unno. -Shrugs-

Somewhere along the way, I decided to merge the two together, and the name Siegfried stayed.

I was looking up French last names one day, and decided to choose "Friar" out from a list.

WHICH... is a little weird I guess, seeing that his first name is German or something hehe.

OH WELL. xD

Soo.... here he is.

Enough with my yammering, hehe. More about the picture itself.

Do you notice his reflection?? It's a little tid bit I almost forgot to add in, 'til my sister mentioned it.

I drew this in a middle of my art slump. Yeee-up!

Lalalar~ I was frusterated how I wasn't getting the face proportions right, but then I somehow got this!

It was a messy sketch, so I had to clean it up a lot. Dx

The coloring was probably the hardest though. I did my extra best on it! I tried new techniques with smudging and shining the hair.

I also tried changing the lines to a mocha color to see if it would make it look any better.

I tried a lot of experiments on it, and I'm quite proud of the outcome.

- White Staples eraser
