Also, I'm not in the mood to start a debate, so I'm just gonna say that I personally didn't like Mark's singing in that video. I thought, that the song he chose to sing didn't fit his voice, and the notes went too high for him to make them effectively. But, hey, it seems others have already said this, so I have no reason to dive any deeper.

He even said he knew some notes were not perfect and I agree about the song but he still had the courage to recored a video of him singing and he did it in front 18M people, a lot of people cant do that so i'm proud of him

I'm not disputing that. I think that it was awfully brave of him to do that, and I'm so happy that he's singing on the tour for those who get the VIP tickets! He can sing, he just needs to try to find a song of tune that's more in his range - which he is doing.

am I the only one that thinks that Mark's singing was surprisingly terrible?! his guitar playing was great, but his singing sounded very off, and his voice sounded straining-ly high----It sounded like his voice straight up cracked.
I think this song just wasn't good for his voice :/

I agree! It definitely had to do with him not being able to reach those high pitches. I know that with enough practice he'll be better, either that or his range is more on the low side and he can't sing that high.

This song is matching his voice, Mark sounded like a mortal angel. And hey, it was his first try to sing and play the guitar. Sure it´s not almost perfect but for the one moment, his voice blessed my soul.
