Ah I feel bad for doing this,but you want it.. I must say though, how much I appreciate you making this picture of Rei for me! Even before I coloured a picture of him myself!
I'll start from the background. I really like the the technique you used on the clouds they look really fluffy and the black looks nice with the purple sky~ (the cloud in the bottom left is my favorite ;D)
Now with Rei's pose and the dragon. Rei appears a bit too stiff, I know he's jumping, but he looks as if he is just standing at an angle. another thing about Rei is that I think you drew him a bit too skinny many in the arms and legs. The Dragon also looks a bit stiff, it is not doing anything really just sitting there so it loses interest. I understand what you were going for though, it's not very easy.
I like how you worked with the lighting from that (sun?) One thing that sort of bothers me is how lighted Rei is and the dragon is very dark, but I guess that just must be the colour you chose for the dragon, huh?
Overall I think it is a nice picture and really love it <3 Sorry, you are the one who wanted me to critique itt.
