please resize it less than a 1000px at the longest size...anyways...the color is kind of weird on this one...a little dull...doesn't have enough contrast...i suggest turn it to bw...and use curve to play w/ the level of contrast of the photo...cause i see great potential of the sky w/ the clouds in great contrast w/ the texture of the rocks...now on to composition...i don't get the composition at all...i don't get what it is trying to capture...so it is 2 standing rock...so what...what are you trying to portray?...if it is just a shot of 2 rocks then ok...i won't critique on the composition...clearly it's a snap shot...

Resizing is noted I'll try that.. I'm not good at changing contrast in black and white though i seem to miss the rightspot and overdo it a lot. I was trying something with the composition, but i can't really remember what it was ut this wasn't intended to look like a snapshot even though it does a bit

One of my favourite places

My masters supervisor was one of the Archaeologists there so we got to go there quite a lot.

Nice shot too, it's good to see you have considered a decent composition rather than try to capture as many stones as possible.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Princess-Amy In reply to Sforza [2007-01-09 11:42:55 +0000 UTC]

^^ its a wonderful place to visit.. and with it being on my doorstep i get there a lot

Trying to make a decent composition rather than just going mad and getting stones in makes quite a change for me... I had decided that day that i was after detail rather than quantity
