Dex Entry: Fungrim release spores constantly, which siphon off energy from other pokemon and feed it back to Fungrim. Strangely, the energy transfer seems works best with other pokemon which trust Fungrim.

Special Outlaw Ability
-Siphon Spore-
Pokemon on the same team as Fungrim will have their highest stat cut in half, transferring said respective stats to Fungrim. Effect ends only when Fungrim is KO'd.

Fungrim was a fun idea I had on my way home from work the other day.

Fungrim is based on Embezzlement. While it's presence weakens it's teammates, it benefits directly from their stat drop. With the right team built around it, this can basically be used to build a custom-stat super pokemon best suiting your play style. However, your team is rendered virtually useless until Fungrim is KO'd...leading with anything but Fungrim, or switching pokemon out before Fungrim is KO'd, won't do you much good.

Also, fun little story-based tidbit I came up with...

Fungrim are the source of the parasitic mushroom on Paras/Parasect's back. After Fungrim were removed from their natural environments and sent to the outlaw zone, their spores were too far separated to send energy to them. In certain cases, the spores stored the energy they otherwise would have sent back to Fungrim, and grew into full mushrooms, of which Paras believe they 'benefit' from using.

Fungrim has 2 design bases...Initially, I was gonna make it look sorta like it was wearing a business suit...hence the "flap" on its chest. But its also based on an old mech I used to draw back in the day, called Funguar.
It ended up really paying more homage to Funguar than anything lol.

Name is a combination of fungus and grim.
