   Jason turned just in time to hear someone yell his name. A wave of black hair and purple robes crashed into him, and he only had time to think Piper before Reyna's lips were against his. She tasted of grape juice and chapstick, something he found surprisingly familiar. Her lips were soft against his, shaping to fit around his mouth.
   At first he started to give in, lost in the memories he now cherished so deeply. He liked this, he remembered, he loved kissing her. He liked it when she ran her long pianist fingers through his hair and held him to her. He liked her hungriness in the way she kissed him, smashing her mouth against his and forcing him to kiss her back. Then his memories moved on, though, into how he felt now, right now. He saw Piper turn away in his peripheral vision, and he could think clearly again. This Roman daughter of Belona was not the girl he loved now.
   It was the one that had just turned from him, couldn't stand to look at him any longer, that beautiful daughter of Aphrodite with the iron will and unprideful air. He pulled away abruptly, shaking his head out of the total wrongness of the situation.
   "No," he said. "No....no!" Reyna stared at him like he was insane. Then her expression turned to one of hurt, and she said, "You...don't remember me, do you?" Jason wasn't sure what to say.
   Would it be easier just to tell her that? Would it be less drama, just telling her he had no recollection of her whatsoever? She seemed so.....broken. She looked as if she was trying not to cry, and Jason knew that wasn't like her at all. She always held her emotions in, never let anyone see them except him. At least, that's how it had been. Things were different, now, though. He had met Piper, and he liked her a lot. But he liked Reyna a lot too, in a different way.
   He was overwhelmed and didn't know what to do or who to choose, so he turned his back on them both and walked away. He hugged Hazel and Bobby and Gwen, and they introduced him to Frank, who seemed pretty cool. Jason greeted some other campers, of whom told him that Percy Jackson was praetor. This bothered him slightly, but he put it off until that could be further figured out.
   He was deep in thought when he suddenly heard, "JASON! Bro! Don't you, ah, want to introduce me to your...friends?" Leo walked up with raised eyebrows and a devilish grin on his face. Jason was, at the moment, surrounded by girls. He sighed. "Sure, Leo. This is Gwen, Hazel, Tracy, and Courtney. This is Leo, my very single friend. Happy?" he added under his breath and Leo patted his shoulder. "Thanks, bro. And, hey...I'd deal with Piper."
   Jason turned around, imagining the worst. Would Piper and Reyna be yelling? Kicking? Hurling each other into the bonfire? Yet when he turned and his eyes took in the scene in front of him, all he could do was cock his head and wonder.
   Piper was next to Reyna while she stared ahead in tears, talking to her and soothing her. She must've said something extremely funny, because Reyna's mouth quirked up for a moment. Jason walked forward and met eyes with Piper, who gave him the stare down of You come over here, we both kill you.
   Jason didn't take another step.
   Once in a while, he'd hear bits and pieces of what Piper was saying to Reyna. "MEN." or "Guys are so stupid sometimes..." Jason grinned to himself. Maybe Piper would let it go, and he could be with Reyna, and she would never have to know he had feelings for Piper--He was thinking about this, pondering the effects, when Piper looked up and made eye contact with him for the briefest fraction of a second. There was such pain in her eyes, but she kept talking to Reyna, forcing herself to look happy for his sake.
