on verra mais ton idée de recherche sur les signes et signification m'a au moins donné une piste.
je suis jamais très à l'aise avec le thème de l'amour, mais on va essayer.

VERY strong, Hanan! i read the comments on the symbolism. i also see the strength of turning to face what is in shadows - and the strength of a self divided but remaining one - and even this, that strength that only faces one way will fail - and of course red is the strong color - what a great image.

i am glad how it turned out to be in the end .
i was not happy with the lion concept and tried something abstract to begin with. but i was drawn back to the classical symbolism of cards and decided to keep the lion and the infinity sign .
i wanted something to balance visually the left part, and the shadow came from my own personal "mythology" if i can call it. it was very spontaneous and what i had in mind was something related to another aspect of this card. the part about discipline and control, the energy and the temptations of the flesh .
still thinking of this...

i agree, so much to think about. lion on one side, human shadow on the other. a sort of calm and poise in between... one could go and on. keeping the lion and the infinity sign ended up working very well. it's my favorite of the cards for Crina that i have seen.
