I see both the Red-breasted (Sitta canadensis) and the White-breasted (Sitta carolinensis) around here quite often...

Your so lucky, I have only seen 1 of these and then without bins or camera, so it was lost in the top most branches quite quickly. I watched for days (work permitting) but never saw it again. It's a beautiful picture, he even seams to be posing for you, thank for sharing.
