Okay, so I thought "you know, why's it that only the player's Pokemon get the Nuzlocke treatment? If Pokemon die in general, you'd expect the other trainers to have the same sort of trouble the player gets, right?

That's why I avoid trainer battles in the comic. Unless really important, I think killing Pokemon around for the sake of grinding is... morally problematic. Some will die along the way, yes. Our first "non-Gym" Pokemon to die will appear two pages from now, and Gym leader Pokemon will get this treatment exactly. Poor Roxanne is just the first.

So, Nosepass is really odd to draw in different positions(the nose, especially, gets really odd in any position that's not a side view). Yes, I still have little to no grasp of Pokemon sizes, and Mudkip's reference material looks really... anatomically problematic. He seems to have no thighs, which is a thing I promptly ignore in drawing him in the most action-prone poses ever.

And yes, there's a reason why it's "never enough". Next comic I'll try to be succint and not to forceful as to what Skipper's motives are.

This will be quite a challenge.
