Wanted to try to draw Sonic's new design. Alot harder to get the anatomy right than I expected, and I still don't think I got it right x'DAh well. I'm semi excited for the movie. I hope it'll be alright.

Similar to the Who characters in the live action Dr Seuss movies, what makes something cute in a drawing doesn't always make it cute when translated to real life. There are of course numerous exceptions to that (Detective Pikachu for example), but the old movie Sonic design is one such example of the former. For I actually like this drawn rendition of old movie Sunky. The hedgehog has a better potential range of emotion and charm on in this style.
