Oh, this is so sad. A) That this is a troll trying to bash a whole group of people with out reason, proof of their acusations etc. and B) That so many people fed it. The Muslim that learns not to apply laws to others of not their own religion, I am fine with. Hell, fine with any religious person who realizes that "it neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg if my neighbor worships 20 gods or none"{And thus whatever someone does, as long as it doesn't hurt another, is valid and nonpunishable} - and they do exist.
However, it is undeniable the vast majority of muslims within muslims nations would have your, and mine, head on pikes for our "sexual deviancy". Change will come - but it's a while off. In the USA, in cities like NYC amongst the very young generation of Muslims, I see tolerance and acceptance. Not so much anywhere else. Maybe Urban Iraq, a rare maybe, or pre-civil war syria. Eg, the more secular states.
