I could write a whole essay about how Young Link is the most mentally fucked up Link but I'm not going to because I have actual essays to write.
But you're gonna tell me that a kid who's lived a relatively peaceful life up until his only father figure turns around telling him he's gotta fill out some kinda destiny before dying and is then forced to go out to save an entire kingdom is gonna turn out ok at the end of it??? Na, no way, triforce of courage my ass, this is a child, not even a teenager, a c h i l d.
I know that Toon Link is also a child forced to go out and save his sister, but Young Link literally has no real reason to do it besides "It's your destiny deal with it pussy". This child loses so much on this adventure that it’s just??? What’s the point kid just stay at home?
What more the whole becoming an adult thing is totally shit as well because Young Link has probably never SEEN an adult, he was raised by kids and a tree, so how the fuck does he know how to behave like one??? His just basically a child in an adult body and IDK what kind of effect that would have on someone but it can’t be fun.
God Young Link is truly the edgiest Link out of all of them and he’s only like, 11/12???
Don’t get me started on Majora’s Mask.
